THIRTY - THIRD SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
SECOND COLLECTION FOR NATIONAL YOUTH SUNDAY, NEXT WEEKEND 23RD & 24TH NOVEMBER. To support the Youth Service, particularly our bursary scheme which helps young people who would otherwise struggle financially to be involved, as well as helping towards other costs so that we may continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ amongst young people.
DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING. We are looking for two volunteers from each Mass who will undergo defibrillator training. Please leave your details at the Parish Office.
RECEPTION/NURSERY-SCHOOL SIGNING Application forms are available at Saturday Evening Mass and all Sunday Masses from the Priests and should be returned on or before Monday 16th December to the Presbytery. Fr. Kevin will be distributing Certificates of Catholic Practice on Thursday 19th December from 3.30pm-6pm in the Presbytery to parents of children who are presently in Reception/ Nursery and want their child in Catholic Primary School from Sept 2020. When the Priest has evidence that the parent’s statement is true, he will present them with a “Certificate of Catholic Practice”.
† WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE DEATHOF JOAN CHASE-CURRIER RIP mother of Christopher Chase-Currier. Her Funeral Mass will take place here on Wednesday 20th November at 10am and this will be the only Mass celebrated here that morning. May her soul rest in peace.

CULTURAL CHRISTMAS CAROL EVENING. The Faith in Action team will again be hosting an evening of Christmas carols this year in the church on Friday 20th December 2019 at 7pm, followed by mulled wine and mince pies. All are welcome. We invite groups (large or small, young or old) to represent their culture or homeland with one or two carols but there will be plenty of opportunity for everyone to sing old favourites together. LATIN SUNG REQUIEM MASS. There will be a traditional Latin Sung Requiem Mass at St Patrick's Cemetery Chapel, Langthorne Road, Leytonstone, London E11 4HL at 10.30am on Saturday 23rd November. The Mass is offered for the repose of the souls of all those buried in the cemetery and the celebrant is Father Jean-Claude Selvini.
NOVEMBER DEAD LIST- November is the month when we remember our dearly departed. We remember them and pray for them out of gratitude for all they did and were for us. We remember all those who, down the years by their faith, their Christian witness, their heroic deeds of self-sacrifice have inspired countless others to give more of themselves in service to God and humanity. CATHOLIC NEWSPAPER. Please place money for Catholic Newspapers and Magazines in the slot beside St. Anthony. Donations to St. Anthony can also still be placed in this slot.
MARRIAGE IN CHURCH. Couples thinking of getting married are reminded to register in good time (minimum of 6 months’ notice). Contact the parish office to make an appointment to see one of the Priests and he will help you from there. Couples planning to marry in another parish or even outside the country should realise that the process properly begins here.
BAPTISM. Application forms for infant Baptism are available in the porch. Please fill in and present to Parish Secretary during office hours and make an appointment to see one of the Priests. It is unwise to organise a reception until the date of the baptism has been approved. It’s a Diocesan requirement that you are registered in this parish for at least six months and a regular church goer. Baptisms take place on the First Saturday of every month at 11:30am.
PARISH MEMBERSHIP. We are aware that some people have left the parish and while others have joined us. To those newly arrived we say welcome and wish you a peaceful time here. We hope and pray that your coming to St. Patricks will satisfy your need to have a meaningful relationship with God and help you to meet new friends. Do introduce yourself to Fr. Kevin and Fr. Freddy and register with the Parish Secretary and make sure you are known in case you plan to have a child receive a sacrament or apply for a place in a Catholic school.

ARE YOU AWARE that the Rosary is said each morning in the church at 9.05 am (just before the morning Mass)? All are welcome to participate.
UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO MASS? The church offers a service called Mass Link. At 6pm Sunday Mass, via Skype. This service is available for anyone who can't make it to Mass if you are ill or housebound. If you would like this service, please give your number to the Parish Office and we will ring you on Sunday at 6pm to listen in!
LEGION OF MARY meeting is held each Thursday after Mass at 10:15 am. If anyone is interested in what we do, you are very welcome to attend.
NOVENA PRAYER OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP every Wednesday at 10am.
